Haiku High School Harrison, Who are You?
Local poet Margaret Brady, my good buddy , is becoming quite the celebrity around the Chicagoland Area. She and other artists and poets gathered their talents and time to transform the Red Line’s Harrison subway station into a gallery of Haiku.
( You might have to scroll down to play 1minute movie )
She recently earned a Graduate Degree in Poetry from Columbia College Chicago.
Please check back to this post later this week for gallery photos & read the Chicago Tribune: Haiku for the walls at Harrison stop inspire CTA, students by By Karoun Demirjian Tribune reporter January 31, 2008
The sculpture behind Margaret is by Niki de Saint Phalle and is from the Niki in the Garden exhibit last year at Chicago’s Garfield Park Conservatory.

I liked your slide show! The Harrison stop sure looks better now; although I do remember it having the most interesting, large drip patterns along the tunnel walls (which are probably still there!).
